Transfer Credit

Many students entering University of Phoenix have earned credits from other educational institutions or corporations. In order to serve the degree completion goals of these students, University of Phoenix has worked extensively with other institutions and corporations to articulate and transfer program credits.

College Articulation

As of 2007, the Office of Admissions, College Articulation Office, of University of Phoenix has completed nearly 500 formal alliance agreements with two-year institutions to successfully provide a seamless transition from an associate's degree to a bachelor’s degree. The University is working with another 500 institutions toward completion of additional articulation agreements.

Our Transfer Guides (for College Articulation Agreements) outline what students need to complete to earn a degree in the most efficient way possible at University of Phoenix. The guides, which are updated annually, map the general and elective credits that transfer and fulfill University of Phoenix program requirements.

Corporate Articulation

The Office of Admissions, Corporate Articulation Office, of the University of Phoenix has completed nearly 150 formal alliance agreements with nationwide corporations. The corporate articulation agreements allow students to see how their in-house training at a corporation will transfer into college level credit. Currently, the Corporate Articulation Office is renewing agreements with more than 100 corporations.
